My Hiding Place

Does this look familiar to you?? hehehe
I just love to come here nowadays for a morning Jog
And for morning devotion =)
It's like my hiding place..
It's a place I can find peace and joy in me
And a place to talk to God
And pray
And and and..ahhh~ just indescribable.. haha =D

I will miss this when I leave Kampar..

Well~ today as I do my devotion, I realize in my previous blog where i ask are you ready and everything??
There's one thing I miss out..

Are we there yet to be ready??

To be able to have the compassion as Jesus had??
Do we have the same eye as Jesus to look upon people??

This is John Harper.. He's a Scottish Evangelist and a passenger in Titanic.. Familiar eh?? hehe.. I believe you watch the movie before and know that he stay back to share the good news or the resurrection of Jesus Christ..

When the ship began to sunk, John Harper was witnessing to anyone who would listen. Then, there is this one man who is nearby Harper.

And Harper asked, " Are you saved now?"
"No I'm not" replied the man.
"Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved" pleaded Harper.
Then Harper asked again, "Are you saved now?"
The man replied, "No, I cannot honestly say that I am."
Again, Harper plead "Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved."

Then, everything just finish.. Harper went down to the sea.. That very night, one of the survivor is the man!! The man says this, "There, alone in the night, and two miles of water under me, I believed. I am John Harper's last convert."

Compassion

Sunday Service
Then today, in Sunday Service, as Pastor was preaching about serving. About grace. About Law. I come to a sense that we as Christians are to serve God but then by serving alone doesn't constitute you are saved and doesn't shows that you are close to God. By, grace alone is sufficient of all this. So, why do we serve? (reaching out, worship, bible study, etc)

It's because we want to share this experience which is the Love, the Grace, the Glory that God has implement inside us since the moment we accept Him as our Lord of our Life.

It is not because of responsibilities we go church, or we serve in CF, or we serve in Church.. It is because we want to praise and appreciate His sacrifice with our Heart and to share the Resurrection of Jesus Christ to others.

The first question is "How then can we share?"
Then come to "Are we ready to share?"

Well, it's yours to answer =) Only you know what God want you to do in your life.

SERVE = SHARE
